Back in the day when I lived in Pennsylvania, Maryland was one of my ongoing destinations thanks to family and friends who lived there and the excellent outdoor recreation opportunities along the western edge of the state. I loved Annapolis for its colonial charm and excellent eateries along Chesapeake Bay; it was here I learned a little about sailing and a lot about sea kayaking.
